The House is grateful to Frank T. Modica for his 34 years of service and leadership to the Two Bridges/Chinatown community and to Hamilton-Madison House. Under his stewardship, the House grew from an annual operating budget of less than $1,100,000 to approximately $15 million.
Mr. Modica is on the Board of Directors of a number of local, national and international organizations including United Neighborhood Council of America and International Federation of Settlements and Neighborhood Centers. The scope of social services that have been provided under his leadership have adapted and grown to meet the changing needs of the community.
Mr. Modica will continue to serve the Lower East Side as a consultant to the House. His impressive reign at the helm of the organization has touched and improved the lives of countless community residents, and the community and the agency will always be thankful for his time at the House.
